The Charolais breed is resting high on a crest of a wave with their popular Ulster Bank Suckled Calf Sales through out the Province.
Demand for Charolais suckled calves have reached an all time high this year in the Ulster Bank Charolais Suckled calf competition through out the Province.
Charolais bulls met a solid trade selling to a top of 6,400gns in Ballymena on Monday 3 May at the Northern Ireland Club’s show and sale.
Top 7,800gns, 90% clearance, breed centre record 57 entries sold Charolais bulls met a bumper trade peaking at 7,800gns with 90% clearance and a breed centre record of 57 entries sold to average £2,962 in Dungannon on Saturday 6 March at the NI Charolais Club’s spring show and sale.
