  • Wednesday, 16 April 2008 13:41

Plans are full steam ahead for the forthcoming Coolnaslee Charolais Production Sale to be held on behalf of well know breeder Gilbert Crawford.

100 Excellent females and 2 Stock Bulls will come under the hammer on Friday Evening 6th June at Dungannon Farmer’s Mart

and represent a genuine opportunity for established and new breeders alike to secure top bloodlines.

“We have selected over 30 Cows with calf or with calf at foot, and hand picked two year old and yearling heifers that are from the heart of our herd. It is almost six year’s since we had a collective female sale and it rewarding for us to hear good reports from previous purchaser’s, and see their progeny earning show and sale success.”

The Coolnaslee Herd has had many success stories of it’s own having chalked up endless Championships and sale topping prices. It is also home to the highly influential stock bull Allanfauld Superscott, who has sired progeny up to 32,000 guineas. The sale will feature some outstanding daughters of Superscot, in addition to being sire of many of the calves at foot of dam.

Fully detailed catalogues will be available shortly from Dungannon Farmer’s Mart (02887 722727)
