Young Stock Judging Winners

The recent NI Young Breeders Stock Judging Competition was kindly sponsored by United Feeds and hosted by Basil Buchanan Ashgrove Farm who runs the Drumfin Herd at 112 Moira Rd Hillsborough.

 

The Charolais Stock put at our disposal were of exceptional quality giving young competitors an opportunity to test their skills at placing three rings in order. This was a tough task set by Ben Sinnamon master judge from Pomeroy who represented Northern Ireland in the UK Finals in both 2009 and 2010 Ben brought home the title in 2009 and is a real role model to those who want to try their hand at stock judging around the province.

The following qualified to represent NI.at the UK Finals on 2nd July on the Farm of Mr Peter & Mrs Sheilagh Donger in Seawell Grounds Northamptonshire.
